Case study · Kalve Coffee

Feedback culture that teaches itself.

Kalve Coffee's teams were growing fast — and growing teams need a better way to communicate. Together we built a feedback culture the company now runs on its own, in Latvia and beyond.

The challenge

Growth changes how a company talks to itself. As Kalve Coffee's teams expanded, day-to-day communication needed to improve — not with a rule book, but with a culture people actually felt. They came to us to shape the way feedback flows internally.

What we did

Assess

Step 1

A culture assessment survey gave everyone a shared, honest picture of how feedback actually happens inside the company — and where it stops.

Convene

Step 2

Three-hour workshops brought the teams together in the same room to practise giving and receiving feedback, and to co-create the method that fit their culture.

Measure

Step 3

We measured feedback from participants after each workshop, so progress was visible and the format kept improving with every group.

Countries the format now reaches

What started as a single Latvian programme became a format the company owns. Internal employees now teach the same co-created workshop to their colleagues in other countries — the method travels on its own, without us in the room.

"We need more events like these. It helps us to feel how to give a proper feedback, and we have a clear method to rely on."
